The Logistics & Industrial division, Energem International Ltd, comprises the rationalized businesses and logistics platform obtained through the acquisition of the Otterbea group of companies in 2002/3. It incorporates an extensive logistics and supply infrastructure for all the group’s operations, including bitumen production facilities and manufacturing facilities for mine spares and consumables.

STRUCTURE

Through a number of subsidiary companies, we also specialise in the procurement, and supply logistics of products for the mining and energy sectors in Africa. We have warehousing and other support infrastructure in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Zambia, Zimbabwe, South Africa and Kenya.

The division also owns and manages a bitumen emulsions manufacturing factory in Harare, Zimbabwe.

Currently the Logistics and Industrial Division employs 200 staff.

The division has provided, and continues to provide, key logistic and procurement services to The Company's other projects in all their development, construction and operational needs.

Bitument Emulsion Plant
The plant in Zimbabwe, operational since 1993, provides the platform for supplies of bitumen to various Sub-Saharan African countries.

Energem International Ltd brings an extensive procurement, logistics and supply infrastructure to the group’s operations with over 40 years of experience in Africa We have established offices and representation in Zambia, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Malawi, Democratic Republic of Congo and South Africa.
